These patriotic pups are prancing to the classic tunes of America

What do dogs and singing have to do with each other you ask? Few things are as American as man’s best friend and songs about this great country of ours. So as you’re setting off fireworks and firing up the BBQ, enjoy a few patriotic pups and tunes you’ll want to jam out to.

My hair’s turning white,

We’ve always been here
Just trying to sing the truth to you.
Yes you could say
We’ve always been,
Red, White, and Blue

I thank god for my life
And for the stars and stripes
May freedom forever fly, let it ring.
Salute the ones who died
And the ones that gave their lives so we don’t have to sacrifice
All the things we love
Like our chicken fried
Cold beer on a Friday night
A pair of jeans that fit just right
And the radio up

Let freedom ring, let the white dove sing
Let the whole world know that today

Let the weak be strong, let the right be wrong
Roll the stone away, let the guilty pay
It’s Independence Day.

So I hope that lady in her mini-van
Turns on her radio and hears this from me
As she picks up her kids from their private school
And drives home safely on our city streets
Or to the building where her church group meets
Yeah, that’s why I’ve got a sticker for the U.S. Marines
On the bumper of my SUV

And crown thy good with brotherhood
From sea to shining sea!

But if dyin’s asked of me,
I’ll bear that cross with honor,
‘Cause freedom don’t come free.
